We are a part of a project to introduce mobile measurements of air quality using autonomous vehicles in Linköping. Two autonomous buses will be equipped with sensors and the EdevaLive platform will monitor, collect and present data from the sensor kit. This is a start for the Actinode sensor kit that can measuer a number of environmentally related things. The idea is that measurements over a larger area, over time and in real-time will give the municipality a better understanding of how the air quality varies over time and over different areas. The Actinode measurements will be used as a complement to the stationary environmental measurements that are used to report air quality status to national reports.
The other partners in this project are VTI, Sensorbee, Östgötatrafiken and Linköping municipality.
