The Swedish Transport Administration has used the Actibump system on their roads since 2018. They have now made a framework procurement for active speed bumps and we got the agreement.
The Actibump has been around since 2010. The Swedish Transport Administration installed their first ones in Ystad, Sweden, on the E65 road in 2018. Since then, they have installed the Actibump system on another five sites. The good results and the experiences from these installations have led to the decision to make the solution accessible on a national level by the framework agreement. This gives the Swedish Transport Administration an additional tool to ensure accessibility and safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
